Litou bird

A weird sensation arouse Litou bird -not dead yet-, it was a feeling for another bird. He was so curious that stretched his neck out of the nest till not holding it anymore. He fell off. He was little, didn't know how to fly. He didn't get hurt when banging on the ground, but was affraid.

"Oh no, cat will eat me!"
He wasn´t aware that the other bird watched the whole scene going down to check on him.
"Are you ok?"
"Ok."
"You hurt?"
"Not really... "
"Why didn't you fly?"
"I don't know how to fly..."
"Mmmm..." - the other bird mumbled.
Litou bird waited till the other spoke again:
"Cats don't eat dead birds."
"But i'm not dead!"
"Yet."
"???"
The other bird flew away.

Litou bird learned to pretend before learning to fly. The cat never ate him. Now he flies like all birds, but pretends he likes flying when the other bird looks proudly at him.
