FILE 2012 na Galeria de Arte do Sesi
Os mediadores trabalharão todos os finais de semanas durante as cinco semanas de 16/07 a 19/08. O curso preparatório terá duração de 1 semana para todos os selecionados e será ministrado de 10 a 15 de julho no período da manhã.

A [good] thought on the future of education - by Dave Pell
"Higher Education in a Post-Beer Pong World
Here are two interesting stories that might point to a massive shift in the way we think about higher education. First, while we've seen plenty of protests about tuition hikes at major colleges, the top brands in higher education are absolutely raking in big dollars via donations. In 2011, Stanford pulled in $700 million with Harvard and Yale close behind. Several public schools broke the $200 million barrier. Meanwhile, many of these top schools are starting to offer entire courses online (such as MIT's offering called MITx). So we've got a few schools with a ton of funding that now have a channel to teach a much larger population via the Internet. The Atlantic's Megan Mcardle does a great job describing potential outcomes of the trend: "Education will end up being dominated by a few huge incumbents. As we see with Facebook and Twitter and, well, almost everything, the internet offers huge returns to scale, and substantial network effects." Mcardle has many more interesting takes on what this potential shift in the way we learn could mean for the future as she envisions a post-campus America."
